Women owned businesses are still less as compared to Men, and the difficulties faced by women who have taken the path of entrepreneurship are vast and often very different from those experienced by their male counterparts. Journey of a Little Girl from Ratlam (MP) aged 19 years becoming Entrepreneur
Little Girl from Ratlam (MP) aged 19 years, Deshna Surana started her enterpreneurial journey a year ago. Idea germinated in her mind when she was 17 years and raised funds during COVID pandemic for a social cause.
With the determination in mind to do something, she bootstrapped her venture “Littlee Pixels” a year ago. Her startup is into customized gifts, Illustrated gifts and other gifting articles.
How she managed initial investment
With very limited initial investments in hand, she saved her pocket money and started her venture. Being an enthusiast women, she want to handle everything independently on her own and not to outsource things. She does all things by herself including Ideation of new products, designing, crafting and giving final touch to the products. She Each piece is personally hand crafted by herself, which is what makes it truly special. It take couple of days to complete one product and product qualify for its quality, personalized and purely handcrafted.

People might wonder, how she managed things herself alone. But yeah its her determination, dedication and zeal to do something. Initially, she sold soft copies and digital illustrations, even using these sales to raise funds during the COVID pandemic.

Education Qualifications
She completed her 12th grade, pursued a BA in English Literature, took a mid-semester college drop, and opted for distance education and focused on her business. She always knew that this path brings most happiness. This past year has been a roller coaster ride, especially the exhibition experience. She has been a part of many exhibitions by now and has started showcasing her talent that she can do wonders. Witnessing the joy it brings to others brings me immense satisfaction. She has always gives credit of her success to her family and now contributing to support to her family. In her own words she says, "Everything has gone remarkably well, and today I can proudly tell my younger self, “Baby, you will certainly achieve what you aspire to.”"
Status of Followers
Currently she is taking customised orders through her instagram page. She has currently over 950 followers and above 150 customised and curated gifts which one would love to buy.
How she is marketing and taking bookings
She is managing marketing on her own through Instagram page. She processes bookings with a day or two depending upon the availability of the products. If it is local deliver then order gets delivered within same day else shipping takes a week or two to reach customer's hands.
